TOURNAMENT RULES

The rules are simple to enter this pool.  Click on the entry form link and fill out your bracket.  You will need to give each one of your entries a unique name.  You will also need to provide your phone number, real name, and email address.   Click on the teams you think will win each game, and continue to do so until you have fully completed the bracket.  When you click on the Submit button at the bottom, you are done.

Points are awarded by correctly predicting the bracket.   Each round will award more points than the previous round and will be awarded as follows:  Second round games (Field of 64) are worth 1 point, 3rd round games (field of 32) are worth 3 points, 4th round games (field of 16) are 5 points, the Regional Finals are worth 7 points, Final 4 round games are worth 8 points, and correctly picking the champion gets 10 points.  The player(s) with the highest overall point totals wins.  There are no tiebreakers.

As you may be aware, the NCAA field has been changed to a field of 68, with 4 play-in games. These games will not count toward our pool. Enter your picks on the website for the teams you think will win. We are only using the field of 64 for this pool. There are 4 play-in games, two involving 16 seeded teams, and two involving teams that will be seeded 11 or 12. You do not need to wait until those play-in games are done to make your picks. If one of the play-in games is UAB versus Clemson, both 12 seeds, playing for the right to play #5 West Virginia. If you think that West Virginia would beat either one of those teams in the round of 64, then you can make your pick anytime. Same goes if you think that West Virginia would lose to either team, you can pick that loss. However, if you think that only one of those two teams would beat West Virginia then it would be advantageous to wait until that game is played. Remember, the deadline is Thursday about 5 minutes before tip-off to enter your picks.  The play-in games themselves do not count toward the pool.  We start counting points with the field of 64

Entry Fees are $10 per sheet.  We will accept cash or check, credit cards, wells fargo surepay, and paying with pal.   Should you need to mail a check, click here to send me an email for my address.
